Hello everyone my name is Robert, I am 30 years old this upcoming 24th. I am pretty new to my telescope but a avid astronomy nut as far as always looking into whats out there. I just joined and looking to find the spot were I can get the information I need to be at my best, for future astrophotography I hope to be producing. I have always had an interest in the cosmos and have always found new ways to explore and learn, and just recently I came into a bit of luck. A family member found out I was into astronomy and called me up saying that he has a telescope that he was not planning on using anytime in the future due to time I am guessing. But he felt it would be better placed under my care so it's not just sitting in the box unused. So I told him I would love to use it. So after taking possession like all things I use, I learn everything I can on it. But there are somethings I am still learning and I hope to fill those gaps with Knowledgeable and wonderful fellow astronomers that visit these forms.
So to date I have the following equipment. Telescope: Meade LX90 GPS 8" Lenses: Meade 1.25" 26MM Camera: Meade DSI Tracking Unit: Default Autostar Mount Mount: Default Tripod Upgrades: N/A Currently. First will most likely be the EZ focus upgrade, Then the camera because I know it sucks
Anyways he bought all of this like 9 years ago. Hoping to do what I have been doing and just got caught up in other things I am guessing. Sad story but at least it sits no more and the things I have done with it already I have made sure to share every picture and story with him. He seems to enjoy knowing my adventures with it thus far.
