This is Heinz observing from the middle of the still largest city on earth. Bortle 8-9. The discovery of EAA a number of years ago made all the difference for me. Where I at first saw virtually nothing through my telescope, suddenly a large number of objects sprang to life. So I started broadcasting too. Until the limitations of this mega-city kicked in again, and I lost my impetus. The next step will be Celestron's RASA 11, my latest bet to fight the extreme light pollution. I just need the funds for a suitable camera for this beast. Until then it will have to stay a dream.

Welcome Heinz, Nice to see you here. I wondered why I haven't seen you broadcasting for a long time. It certainly was interesting watching your broadcasts of Deep Sky Objects, then for you to slew down and show the enormous Illuminated Clock on the wall of the building opposite your balcony in the centre of Tokyo!!! It always amazed us how you saw anything with all that light pollution! You did a phenomenal job
