Keeping threads Catogorized

I suggest keeping Key threads to just 1 Heading lets say Moon Pics should be nothing but moon pics from the broadcast members as well as for Jupiter Saturn etc should have respectable threads. Makes it easier so we wont have to be bouncing around. I like how its defined in the forum as Deep Sky Objects, Solar System and Meteor section. Over in the Video Astronomy Forum, we've split out Solar from the other Solar System... are you suggesting something like:

- DSOs
- Solar
- Lunar
- Planetary
- Meteors / All Sky

Something like that Rick only thing i just went into the thread and noticed that there is still 2 Jupiter posts mine and i believe Rons, i believe they should be under the same heading. Just an idea. Clear Skies

There is nothing stopping someone from replying to a Jupiter thread with their own Jupiter. However, if everyone does it then people want to discuss individual images, it gets really hard to track in one thread.

But I see what you're saying... more like having individual threads where multiple users post their pictures of specific objects. A gallery in the strict sense.

As rick says nothing wrong with starting a thread,say " jupiter images" the catagories are there just to keep the threads easy to ,might be ok just now ,but in six month may be a nightmare.
