Wow Ron I have to learn how to use registax with out it crashing on me all the time. That Jupiter looks great.

Same here - I love the idea of using the wavelets function but tend to have issues getting there before it crashes. It's been quite a while since I tried, though - might be time for another go...

I guess i dont fully understand the wavelets in registax. Everytime i have ever played with them the image just goes to crap. I would like to see someone use them live to understand them a little better

Back when I used to use Registax a lot I was taught by 2 well-respected Planetary Imagers to go very very very light on Wavelettes. It made a huge difference! They only used the bottom 3 wavelette sliders and never went past 3.6 on any of them. Their planetary images made them famous so they must be right in what they taught me
