Just signed up, but I've been amateur for a long time, starting in Chicago IL (made mirrors and was planetarium operator at Adler, did outreach at Palos Observatory), moving to northern California (EAS, SJAA, Group 70 (founding member) and helped construct and run Fremont Peak Observatory, then to Big Island of Hawaii in the early 2k's. Volunteered from 2006 to current at Mauna Kea VIS, worked as night attendant at IRTF, doing software for UH88 (and others). Frequently observe from the 9200-ft level on Maunakea; active in the West Hawaii Astronomy Club (yes, that's WHAC).
So, now I'm interested in NSN and all it can offer...
Keep On Looking Up, Donn
