Hello!
I'm a young amateur astronomer, proudly gazing at the stars since I was three, all the way to my teenage years. I'm brand new to EAA, and my dad and I are just now looking into purchasing our first electronic telescope. We've previously just been using binoculars because a telescope from our old location just wasn't practical, but now that we're out in the country, we thought we'd dive into it. We're currently researching what kind of telescope might be right for us, focusing on the Celestron Nexstar models currently. I look forward to hopefully learning what I can from all of you.
Thanks!

Hello Will welcome to The Night Skies Network, i am sure you will find alot of answers on here as well as in the Astronomy Video Forum. Any questions feel free to ask. If you are going to be doing some EAA you will more than likely need a good go to mount to start off, and most astrophotographer's tend to go with Refractor telescopes as they give a wider field of view. Till then Clear Skies.

Will,
Welcome! Lots of great info and super smart people and resources here. Try to catch some of the broadcasts, they are full of great celestial wonders and the broadcasters are a wealth of knowledge and advice.
